Rajnandgaon: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday launched a scathing attack on the Congress government in Chhattisgarh, alleging that it was corrupt and incompetent. He also promised that the BJP would form a government in the state in the upcoming assembly elections and bring about development and prosperity.
Addressing a rally in Rajnandgaon, Shah said that the Congress government had looted the people of Chhattisgarh and failed to deliver on its promises. He accused the government of being involved in scams and corruption, and of failing to provide basic amenities to the people.
Shah also spoke about the BJP’s plans for Chhattisgarh, if it is voted to power. He promised that the BJP would create 10 lakh jobs, provide electricity and water to all villages, build new roads and bridges, and provide free healthcare to all people in the state.
“The Congress government in Chhattisgarh is a government of corruption and incompetence. They have looted the people and failed to deliver on their promises. The BJP will form a government in Chhattisgarh and bring about development and prosperity,” Shah said.
The Congress party has rejected Shah’s allegations, saying that they are baseless and politically motivated. The party has also accused the BJP of trying to divide the people of Chhattisgarh on communal lines.
The assembly elections in Chhattisgarh are scheduled to be held in November 2023.
